Day 1
To Hinode.
To Hinode in the Nishitama District of Tokyo. In the morning, I see a beautiful scene of sunlight filtering through the foliage, a scene I seem to remember from somewhere. I took a
very strange photograph with the blue truck as an accent.
Shiraiwa Waterfalls
While heading to Mt. Hinode, I am obsessed, snapping shots of Shiraiwa Waterfalls, trees, and signs. I'm happy-was the world always this beautiful? It was only an hour-long mountain
trail, but it contained a treasure trove of photo subjects. I halve my speed and make my way slowly.
Shinonome Sanso Inn
Shinonome Sanso Inn, a short distance from Mt. Hinode, is a small house straight out of a painting. Here, too, is a treasure trove of photo subjects, and I take many photos.
Shinonome Sanso Inn Stove
Gradually the inn becomes shrouded in fog, so I stay in front of the stove for a while. I can't take my eyes off the flames. I think I'll be able to sleep soundly in the warm futon
when night comes. Being a trip, I want to relax without rushing around.
The top of Mt. Hinode
Looking out from the top of Mt. Hinode, I see the gleaming lights of a Tokyo town. Just yesterday I was amidst those lights, and I could join them once again if I went down the
mountain. The landscape here is a strange one. You can look out on a city while you are in the natural world. You think about things you wouldn't normally think about.
He is active mainly in advertisements and magazines, focusing on people living in nature, landscapes, and animals in the natural world.
