The first day
JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station
The next day, we took a train to JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station. This is Okutama!
Plenty of attractions to explore
There are actually quite a few attractions to visit.
I imagine the cherry blossoms in Okutama are beautiful. It would be wonderful for everyone to experience cherry blossom viewing during the season.

Akiru Shrine
We visited Akiru Shrine to pay our respects. In Japan, it's customary to make a wish by tossing a 5-yen coin. Does anyone know the reason behind this tradition? The Japanese pronunciation of 'five yen' (go-en) sounds similar to 'good relationship' (go-en), making it considered auspicious. As for what wishes I made, I won't tell you! Haha
Juan Chuzaemon
Lunch at Juan Chuzaemon for the most delicious soba noodles!!!
This place is highly rated, and there were still many people lining up when we left. It's one of the must-try delicacies in Okutama.

Sakanaen
Next, we're taking a bus to Sakanaen to go fishing by the stream~
Japanese bus
You don't need to worry about how to take a Japanese bus; it's similar to Taiwan. There are electronic display indicators, and you can get off when you see your destination.
Sakanaen streamside
It's my first time fishing by the stream, an experience completely new to me as we don't have this in Taiwan. It's my first time fishing by a stream in Japan too. It's so much fun!
Kanzukurisou
That evening, we stayed at the Kanzukurisou guesthouse near Shimodaira Station. The dinner at the guesthouse was lavish, with plenty of fish and meat. We were so full!
