You can buy tickets on-site to take the high-speed jet from Takeshiba to Kozu Island. I suggest departing in the morning. This way, you can arrive at Kozushima by noon.

Feeling tired from the ride, we could still stop by the small shops on Kozu Island for some ice cream. Eating ice cream on a hot day is the best way to enjoy, so delightful!

You can also soak in hot springs on Kozu Island. After riding bicycles all day, we were so tired.
