Okutama-machi

Okutama-machi, the westernmost point of Tokyo. Mt. Kumotori(elevation: 2,017 m) is the highest point in Tokyo. Abundant hot springs, with four different types. Lots of ryokan inns, minshuku inns, and camp sites. Enjoy kayak on the Tama River or nature walks from JR Okutama Station.

I heard it's a huge trend in Japan too!
BE-PAL is a famous Japanese camping magazine
I was honored to participate in a nature walking event with BE-PAL as a Korean blogger.

After a short introduction of the staff, self-introduction by the participants, and explanation of the flow of the day's schedule and precautions, we set off.
I was amazed by the exotic scenery that I had never seen in the mountains in Korea!

I can't believe there is such great nature in Tokyo!

When we returned from our morning activities, a hearty lunch menu was waiting for us, hand-prepared by the food coordinator!

In the afternoon, we grouped up with other participants for a fun trivia game
We got close to the Japanese "mountains" by touching and smelling the fruits of the trees with interesting explanations (*'▽')

This sweet cake is reminiscent of the nature we saw and walked through that day!
We had a great time reflecting on the day while enjoying cake and tea in nature.

Hotel Livemax

Hotel Livemax, where we stayed for two nights, is located near Hamura Station.
I was impressed by the soft lighting and clean rooms.
The hotel is located in a secluded area, so I was able to relax in peace.
