Shiofune Kannon Temple (1)
Shiofune Kannon Temple, known as the Temple of Flowers, becomes a paradise of azaleas during the blooming season in May and June, with more than 20,000 azalea bushes covering the mountainside, creating a fairyland scenery

According to history, Shiofune Kannon Temple was established by Yao Bikuni, who is said to have lived for 800 years and
have eaten in her youth by accident the flesh of a mermaid. With a history of 1300 years, it is indeed an ancient
temple. Many of the buildings within Shiofune Kannonji Temple have historical significance of over 1000 years, making them important cultural assets of Japan. The ancient towering trees within the temple compound create an exceptionally peaceful atmosphere.
Iwakura Onsen
Iwakura Onsen is also one of the few natural sulfur springs within the Tokyo metropolitan area. According to historical records, Iwakura Onsen has a history of 1200 years, documented in the Edo period book "Shinpen Musashi Fudoki Kiroku".
Kominka Irori Restaurant
The ingredients here are all locally sourced and in-season. I ordered an all-tofu dish and it was indeed excellent. Both the taste and the dishware were quite exquisite.
Near Ome Station
Akatsuka Fujio Kaikan and Ome Showa Gento-Kan. A combination ticket for the three musuems costs 800 yen. They are well worth a visit. Especially Akatsuka Fujio Kaikan Museum.

The Showa era (25 Dec 1926 - 7 Jan 1989) Showa Retro Goods Museum located next to Akatsuka Fujio Kaikan. The earliest Canon cameras from the Showa era.
Showa Gento-Kan
By blending cats with the Showa era and using a cute artistic style, it presents a unique Showa era experience. It's also a must-visit place for cat lovers.
Ome Railway Park
Exhibits featuring steam locomotives active during the Meiji and Taisho periods, as well as the original JR trains.
